MFCP, a Colville Group company and leading distributor of motion and flow control solutions, has acquired Alaska Hose & Fastener Supply and the Hydraulic Center, two highly respected businesses serving customers across Alaska's industrial markets.

Based in Fairbanks, the companies have earned longstanding  reputations for delivering hydraulic, hose, fastening, and repair solutions  to customers operating in mining, oil and gas, utilities, construction,  transportation, and other mission-critical industries. Their deep technical  expertise, customer-first approach, and strong local relationships make them  an excellent strategic fit for the MFCP platform.

The acquisition expands MFCP's presence in an important geographic market  while enhancing its ability to deliver localized service supported by the  scale, engineering expertise, and supply chain capabilities of a national  organization.

"Alaska Hose & Fastener Supply has long been known  for its deep customer relationships and commitment to service in a demanding  market. This acquisition aligns perfectly with our strategy of growing  alongside customers in critical industries while preserving the local expertise  and hands-on support they rely on every day."

 — Ross Surratt, Chief Executive Officer, MFCP

The Fairbanks locations will continue operating with their existing teams, ensuring continuity for customers while gaining access to expanded inventory, technical resources, and the broader capabilities of the MFCP network.

Why It Matters

At Colville, we believe long-term value is created by investing in exceptional businesses and supporting management teams as they execute disciplined growth strategies. This acquisition reflects that philosophy in action.

By partnering with two established market leaders, MFCP expands its presence in a strategically important region, adds experienced talent and technical capabilities, and deepens relationships with customers operating in critical industrial end markets. Just as importantly, the transaction preserves the local expertise and service culture that have made these businesses successful for decades.

Since partnering with Colville, MFCP has continued to execute a thoughtful growth strategy through a combination of organic investment and strategic acquisitions. The result has been a stronger, more diversified platform positioned to serve customers across North America while remaining focused on what has always differentiated the business—technical expertise, responsive service, and enduring customer relationships.
